The Holden Astra TS was built in Belgium 1998-2005, and is a rebadged Opel Astra designed in Germany. It was offered in a number of body configurations that included a hatchback, sedan, wagon and convertible.
The TS came in a number of specification levels that included City, CD, CDX, SXi, SRi, and SRi Turbo. The SRi was three-door hatchback only. There were also a number of limited editions released that included an Olympic Edition (for the Sydney 2000 Olympics), Equipe (a City model with extra features) , and the Limited Edition and Linea Rossa (both upgraded convertible models).
The available engine configurations included either a 90-kilowatt (120 hp) 1.8 or 2.2 litre 16-valve petrol engine (City, CD, CDXi, SXi and SRi). The City was only available with the 1.8 litre engine.
Models with ABS brakes can be idenfified by the 5 stud wheel pattern.
