Holden started as a saddle maker in 1856. It has come a long way since then and now is actually unstoppable in achieving a more exciting future.
With 160+ years history, many Australians choose Holden not just because of the heritage, but also because Holden automobiles are made in Australia for Australians. With deep local roots and knowledge, it’s no wonder why Holden excelled in this specific market. It clearly happened during the 1950s when the good-looking and affordable 48-215 (FX) entered the scene (500,000 Holdens were produced by the end of the decade).
More modern designs followed (the FE and 1958 FC). Then people saw other designs (which we are more familiar with) such as the Commodore, Astra, Barina, Spark, Trax, Trailblazer, Captiva, Equinox, Acadia and Colorado. There were many others such as the Monaro, Camira, Torana, Apollo, Vectra, Adventura, Cruze, Epica, Viva, Caprice, Kingswood, Brougham, Special, Jackaroo, Rodeo, Monterey, Frontera, Zafira, Combo, Gemini, Nova, Calibra, Malibu, Cascada, Insignia, Piazza, and Tigra.
Holden’s logo has an interesting origin. The logo of a lion holding a stone refers to a fable in which observations of lions rolling stones led to the invention of the wheel. Aside from that logo origin, what we think of more is Holden’s long and rich history.
If your Holden car also has a long rich history, breakdowns and issues are likely from time to time. It’s especially the case with the failing electric window mechanisms (window is hard to close or open, doesn’t function at all or the sliding is just too difficult or slow). The problem even gets worse because quality aftermarket automotive parts are hard to come by.
Here you can find genuine electric window replacement parts for your Holden Astra, Apollo, Camira, Colorado, Commodore, Cruze, Frontera, Jackaroo, Monaro, Piazza, Rodeo, Statesman, Caprice and Vectra. You can also know immediately if the part is in stock so that you can order it (we dispatch the order as soon as we can even during weekends and holidays). This way you save time and you can make your Holden car looking and working great again when you take it out to the road.
