Produced in Madrid, the Stralis is Iveco’s model in the large truck category, with a 18 tonne maximum permissible total mass. The Stralis was first released in 2002 as successor to both the EuroStar and EuroTech. In 2003 the Stralis received the Truck of the Year award for the first time (the second time was ten years later in 2013 as the Stralis Hi-way).
In 2006 the Stralis received an extensive facelift, and was rebadged as the Stralis Cube. New models were released in 2016, as the XP and NP.
- The IVECO Stralis XP (aka TCO 2-CHAMPION) had considerably lower fuel consumption.
- The IVECO Stralis NP was the first long distance haulage to be powered by natural gas.
