The model of Citroën C3 that this regulator suits was built from April 2002 to September 2009.
The C3 was first introduced at the 2001 Frankfurt and Bologna Motor Shows. From launch, the car was available as a 5 door hatchback. A 2 door convertible, the Pluriel, was available from 2003 to 2010.
The car was available with a number of engine and gearbox configurations including 1.1, 1.4 and 1.6 litre petrol engines, and 1.4 and 1.6 litre diesel engines. The gearboxes included a five speed manual transmission, a five speed semi-automatic transmission with paddle shifters and manual and automatic modes. The top of the line model was the only version that had the option of a four speed fully automatic transmission. Aside from these, there was also a Stop & Start model, which would turn off the engine at standstill in order to save fuel. This came with the SensoDrive gearbox.
